We spent Christmas morning at home and headed to Grandma and Grandpa Arnold's on Christmas evening. The day after Christmas we hiked the hills and beaches of Rancho Palos Verdes. We picked our way down the steep rocky hills and spend a few hours exploring the tide pools and the beautiful beach.

A second Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's
Uncle Scott
This was the first time we met baby Cara...the newest addition to the Arnold Family.
Troy and Niki came out for a visit after Christmas and we got to hang out with them for a few days. Lainey loo is 2 years old now and Cara is 4 mos. The kids had a blast hanging out with their little cousins.
This is what Christmas morning at our house looks like at 5 am.
The gigaball Lucas has always dreamed of
Too bad is didn't last more than 2 weeks before it turned into a deflated pile of junk. He had fun while it lasted.
Jack was a good boy this year. Santa brought him an electric guitar
The kids were all excited to get guitar hero.
A new addition to Lucas' hermit crab collection. Mom's favorite kind of pet.
The bulk of Mason's loot was dress-up clothes and weapons of some kind. My boy loves to play pretend. When Mason sat on Santa's lap he asked specifically for an army costume and guns. You can see that Santa came through for him this year.
Oh...this makes me hungry. After Christmas eve mass it is our tradition to eat dinner at our beloved In & Out burger. After filling up on the best burgers around, we head home for the kids to open gifts from each other.
It was truly a very Merry Christmas this year.
