How many puke puddles can one person handle. Well, actually we have all made it to the toilet MOST of the time.
First it was Mason, Jack got off easy with a very mild case. Then Me, then Tom and Now Lucas. God bless his little heart. Sallow skin, sunken eyes, aching tummy....and the whinning goes on.
It would be too easy if we all had it on the same day and then everyone all better and back to life as normal. Yesterday was the first day I had left the house in 4 days. We have been isolated in our own little bubble.
Due to our lagging health, we missed Mason's baseball game and Maddie and Lucas' piano recital. Lucas was totally bummed to be missing his first piano recital....I think it may have had something to do with the promised ice cream trip to follow the recital. Anyway, we had our own recital in our living room...followed by Maddie's delicious chocolate milk shakes. YUMMO. I also want to mention that without Maddie's exceptional cooking skills our family would have starved last night...or had to settle for cold cereal and milk for dinner. She cooked up a mean chicken terriyake and rice dish that would make any Mom proud.
It sucks to be sick and to watch your kids have to be sick. But, we are surviving and next week will be better.
