How did this happen? My baby girl is just a year away from being a teenager.
For Maddie's bday this year she requested a bedroom makeover. My first reaction was:
Me: "We just did a room redo Mads!"
Maddie: "Mom, that was for my 8th birthday"
Me: "Nooooo! And where did the last 4 years go?"
And so I threw myself into yet another project and enjoyed every minute of it. My only condition was that I was not going to repaint the walls....they had to stay aqua. Maddie gave me some great ideas to work with and then she waited patiently for the big reveal....SO much fun.
The tidbits of inspiration that Maddie suggested revolved around Breakfast at Tiffany's, Audrey Hepburn and a black and white color scheme.
And this is what she got....

Maddie celebrated her birthday with her friends Brooke, Scarlet and Carly with a manicure and a night out at the movies to see Alice in Wonderland.
