Happiness is....

......Having a wonderful birthday celebration with my family and friends.  On Wednesday we had lunch at Pat & Oscar's with friends and then dinner at Red Robin with Tom and the kids.  My kids are amazing.  Maddie and Jack got up super early and made me breakfast in bed....nothing better than an egg and cheese biscuit with chocolate chip pancakes on the side.  Maddie also baked me 2 very special chocolate-chocolate birthday cakes.  How did I get so lucky?

In a perfect world the kids would always play nicely together. There would be no computer, video games or tv watching.  There would also be no tattling, whining and bickering.  However in reality these moments are fleeting.  When all 4 kids  actually do play together it is a beautiful thing.  Legos and imaginext can apparently be a bonding tie with the Carrasco kids.  Like Magic! I will take these moments any time I can get them.

Friday at S. Pontos beach with friends.  The tide was way high and the waves were rough. Another fun day in the summer sun.
