October already?
I really am looking forward to cooler Fall days that allow me to snuggle into a warm sweater and cook up a delicious pot of soup. But really???? Where did our summer go. I do have to say Summer break 2009 was just right. 9 weeks of relaxation and fun...balanced with the right amount of sibling tension and angst. When Aug. 21st arrived the kids (and possibly Mom) we're ready for the new school year to begin. As summer becomes a distant memory....
I will remember Summer 2009 ...
Good times at the beach. Trip with Grandma to the Sonora Fair (just the kids). Renovating the Playroom. Family Game nights. Swimming. Palm Springs. Knott's Berry Farm with the Girl scouts. Soak City. Yosemite. Visiting Baba. Baking treats. Grandpa Henry and Uncle Tony visiting. Nights around the fire pit roasting marshmellows and telling stories. Visit from Uncle Troy and Lainey Loo. Movie nights........and NO school!
