Back to School

It's that time of year again that makes me really feel the impact of just how quickly my precious (not so) little ones are growing up.  As they leave my watch and enter the boundaries of back- to- school I place a bubble around them and pray God will keep them safe and give them wisdom and strength to make good choices.  We are  blessed (again) this year with outstanding teachers - giving Mom peace of mind that my children are being well taught and cared for.

I do miss them as I wonder how their day is going and what they are doing ... but I kinda like the quiet at home as I scrub toilets and catch up on paperwork and emails.  Grocery shopping is much more pleasant without little fingers grabbing not-so-ideal snack choices off the shelves or whining about "how much longer" we will be in the store.  And if I just want to sit at the computer and update my blog,  edit pictures, or just waist time on facebook  - I don't have any one begging me to get off so they can log onto poptropica or any of those other sites they love.  Yep, time for Mom is good time.... and I better get back to scrubbing those toilets.

Mason's first day of PRE-K at Hope Lutheran
Tom and I dropped him off with a smile on his face he met his new teacher Ms. Linda.  He is thrilled that Ryan is in his class again this year.

Jackson's first day of 5th grade and Lucas' first day of 2nd.  Jack has Ms. Fine and Lucas has Mrs. Denine - two of our favorite teachers that we have had before.  It is going to be a great year!

Madison is now a 7th grader.  I am sad to say that getting my beautiful girl out the door and to school by 7:45 was a challenge on the first day of school and so I have no picture.  However, here she is during the first week of school as I drop her off.  LOVE her sense of style.  My rockin' 7th grader!
