Happy Halloween 2010
It was a weekend full of tricks and treats. We kicked it off with the annual JES elementary school Fall Festival and it continued on till trick or treating on Sunday night.
The cheshire cat and the Queen of hearts ( aka. Maddie and Brookie)
They both pulled their outfits together on their own with a few odds and ends
and a ton of creativity!
The queen required some assistance with her hair.
And the creativity continues .... Maddie and Brooke made this edible "graveyard"
out of humus, crackers, pretzels, hard boiled eggs and an assortment of veggies.
Is this a trick or a treat?
As always, Tom had his big costume reveal on halloween night.
I think he makes a good Spartan!
Meow!
I am happy to report that the Carrasco's did NOT come home empty handed from this years Fall Festival.
After 7 years of pumping money into the festival raffle baskets .... we finally WON. The entertainment basket was fabulous!!! Oh....Jackson also won "funniest" jack-o-lantern in the pumpkin carving contest. One of the kids (can't remember which one) summed it up best when they said "I guess it's our night!"
Ahhhhhhh! Jackson has lost his head.
You have to LOVE this costume. He knew what he wanted and when he
saw it online he had to have it!
Mason will tell you he was a "cop" for halloween.
He was well equipped with many weapons and those
handcuffs were his favorite part.
Guess who? You must know that Lucas gets his mind set on
the most scary and gruesome costumes every year.
I said no to the mask with the bloody tongue hanging out of a bloody mouth ....ickkkk!
so this was the runner up ... or, atleast, the compromise.
Our scary ghostly scarecrow!
Heading our with part of our trick-or-treating crew.
Told you Mason loves those handcuffs.
LOVE how he is putting the shackles on Wonder woman of all people.
The Marion crew.
How is it that Lucas always comes home with the most candy?
They all hit the SAME number of houses!!!
Hmmmmmm.
Mark, Shannon and the girls made it over later that night.
Check out those swords boys!!!
