The closest I've ever come to jury duty.  In the last 12 years I have been able to respond "nursing a child" or the like as a reason to excuse jury service.  And so the latest summons came my way and here I am ... able and ready.  I called on Sunday as instructed and was told not to report on Monday.  Called on Monday night after 7pm and was told not to report on Tuesday.  Called on Tuesday night after 7pm and was told not to report on Wednesday.  Called tonight, Wednesday,  after 7pm and was given the message above.  

Maybe next year will be my turn.  I certainly feel blessed to live in a country with a justice system that allows innocence until proven guilty.
