Another "in progress" photo to share. Every spindle was removed from our staircase banister leaving it WIDE open. I was freaking out imagining every possible accident that could occur in a situation like this one. We actually had Mason sleep with us for peace of mind - he still gets up in the middle of the night sometimes. Yikers! An accident waiting to happen and the strong stench of paint fumes....but, hey! aint it purdy?
