For those of you that have been asking about my kitchen re-do here are some "before" and "in progress" photos to share. In addition to our kitchen, our banister and family room built-in's are being refinished, as well as our master bath cabinets. Try to imagine the mess and complete chaos in the Carrasco house. I am happy with the (almost) finished product and that it is (almost) done. Clint, our cabinet guy, has been so tolerant of the kids running around the house while he is working. Little Mason was cracking me up. He pulled up a stool next to Clint as he was painting and was directing Clint where he needed to paint next...." Cwint, you missed some", "Now, paint there, and there, and here Cwint". I wonder where Mason gets his bossy nature from. Could it be the 3 big kids that are always telling him what to do???? Hmmmm. After some touch-ups and the hardware installation I will have some "after" photos to share. I can't wait!!!

Kudos to those who can embrace the "open" kitchen model. As for me, I am thankful for cabinet doors... Yikes!

OK - I have to tell you I was so excited by the title of this post and then the before and, what I thought was, after pics, that my mouth literally fell open and I said out loud, "oohh myyy". I thought your 'during' photos were your AFTER photos! hilarious!
