My vote is in. I feel so blessed to live in a country that gives us an opportunity for our voices to be heard. The guy standing next to me this morning in line to vote may share different political views and we may have different opinions on who the next president should be, but we do share the many privledges and blessings that go along with being
an American. We also share one great God, who, I pray, will give our country and our new leader the guidance needed. Our voting location is at the kids elementary school, so we dropped them off for shcool and went to cast our votes. It doesn't get more convienient than that. It was amazing to see the big turnout. We have never had to wait in line to vote and today we, Tom, Mason and I , gladly waited our turn as it rained down on us. As we were leaving, a little boy was in tears as he asked his Mom "Where's the boat?" She explained to him that they were going to VOTE, not ride a BOAT. A lollipop and a "I voted" sticker helped calm him down. Maddie and Jack are excited to take part in a vote of their own at school today. In their own way they are taking part in our democratic process and we are all proud to be an American.

great post. LOVE this picture of you and Mason.
It appears that MK wasn't the only one confused and concerned about the "vote"! How funny!
