I love this picture of Maddie. Check out all that pink. Although, Maddie is my little accesorizer, she was actually showcasing all of her pink for a good cause. Our good friend Toni Jorgensen was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. She has already been through surgery and will continue receiving chemo every other Monday. A group of Toni's girlfriends held a fundraiser honoring Toni at Keyways winery 2 weeks ago and we were overwhelmed by the success. By selling tickets to the event and holding a silent auction we were able to raise almost $5k to help cover Toni's mounting medical expenses. Her prognosis, is indeed, filled with hope. Toni's chemo sessions are coming to an end soon and we pray to hear those words "cancer free". Please keep Toni and The Jorgensen family - her amazing husband Mike, her sons, Nick and Zach and her daughter Lindsey in your prayers.
